Commented Unassigned: EPPlus seems to be removing the spaces between words in cells [15180]

I have a weird problem. It seems that when I use EPPlus to export a GridView to an Excel spreadsheet, the library strips out all of the spaces between words in the cells, adds  's to the empty cells, and replaces &'s with &... How can I prevent this from happening? This is the first time I've used this library so forgive me if this is a well known issue or something...
